Portal Cake prop

My mom made this cake for my Portal Cosplay. I didn't even have to ask, lol. I think she did a good job on it, making it as close to the cake from Portal as she could. [link] She actually made this incase I don't finish my Portal gun on time.

Now that she's made this, I'm seriously thinking about just ditching the gun, but the thing is, the costume is incomplete without that gun. I don't know what I'm gonna do about the big white parts of it. I was going to buy strofoam and just shape it, but $13 for somthing I'll mostlikely screw up on isn't worth it. <.< I might use a white bleach bottle and upolster that with shinney white pleather. I bought shinney black pleather for the black parts of the gun recently, so I know really glossy pleather exisits! o3o I just don't know how soon my mom is going to use up her bottle of bleach or laudry detergent xD I'd use the old bottles, but my dad swiped them and used them to put the oil in after changing his motorcycles oil. lol.

My mom has a DA now. She may post pictures if previous felt foods she's made as play toys for my nieces, or she may not. I'd like to encourage watchers for her, maybe she'll get up the nerve to post somthing. Not only the play toys but all sewing projects she has done...if she wants to that is. xD
